I am pleased to announce that I "Lakiah Williams" am running for Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner - ANC of Single Member District - SMD 8D08 located in Washington DC.
All Communities need a voice at the table, and my goal is to serve for as the voice for my neighbors.
As the neighborhood continues to change and grow, the community needs to pursue creative, sustainable, mixed-use, and mixed-income development that incorporates retail, affordable housing, and green space, and much needed entertainment for our youth.
With your support we can continue to improve our community and ensure we keep our neighbors engaged.
