Donate today to help our campaign show residents it's government must deliver tax relief and economic growth, not status quo spending.
After record inflation and a price of living crisis, Largo residents deserve a tax cut. It's wild to me that our commission couldn't summon up the courage to tell staff to find 0.25% of cuts to their proposed general fund budget to accomplish a rollback tax rate of 5.485.
Telling staff they can only increase spending by 10.02% instead of 10.27% in a budget shouldn't be a hard ask. This budget is inflationary and will increase inflation in our region via increased government spending makes up for reduced consumer spending. Growth and building more homes is the answer, not higher taxes. We need a commissioner that will fight for common sense fiscal responsibility.
