Latinos for America was founded with one purpose in mind and that is to give Latino Americans our 20/20 vision for their future. What does 20/20 vision mean to Latinos for America? 20/20 Vision:
- Latinos are 20% of the population.
- Latinos make up 23% of the GDP which is the wealth generation for the country.
- Yet Latinos are only 2% of federal elected officials, 3% of board room C-suite positions, and are less than 3% of accumulated wealth.
Our 20/20 vision is to empower Latino candidates for federal elected positions until we are at least 20% of the federal elected body and our political power matches our contribution to this country.
Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
