Mission and Goals:
Our campaign for the CPS 9th district is more than just an election; it’s a pivotal moment in the history of Chicago. This race marks the first time Chicagoans will elect their school board members, giving our communities a direct voice in the education system. Our mission is to ensure every child in the 9th district receives a high-quality education that prepares them for success. We aim to:
- Improve Educational Resources: Ensure that all schools in our district have the necessary resources, from textbooks to technology, to foster a conducive learning environment.
- Enhance Student Support Services: Increase the availability of counseling and mental health services to support the holistic development of our students.
- Promote Community Engagement: Strengthen the relationship between schools and communities by encouraging parental involvement and community partnerships.
- Advocate for Fair Funding: Fight for equitable funding across all schools in the district, ensuring that no school is left behind due to financial constraints.
- Implement Innovative Programs: Introduce and support programs that address the diverse needs of our student population, including special education, STEM initiatives, and arts education.
Why Your Contribution Matters:
Running a successful campaign requires significant resources. Your contributions will help cover essential expenses such as:
- Campaign Materials: Printing flyers, posters, and informational brochures to spread our message.
- Community Events: Hosting town halls, meet-and-greets, and other events to engage with voters.
- Digital Outreach: Maintaining a robust online presence through social media, email campaigns, and website updates.
- Staff and Volunteers: Supporting the dedicated team working tirelessly to connect with every voter in the district.
- Advertising: Running ads in local media to ensure our message reaches all corners of the community.
This is a historic opportunity to shape the future of our education system. Your support will help us make a lasting impact on the lives of thousands of children and their families.
