Laura Andreson

From delivering babies to delivering change - Dr. Laura Andreson is fighting for a better Tennessee.

Dr. Laura Andreson is a longtime OB/GYN, a mother, and a proud Tennessean who has spent over 20 years caring for women and families at their most critical moments.

After entering the political arena in 2024 driven by the fallout of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision and the sweeping abortion restrictions passed in Tennessee, she launched her first campaign by running as the Democratic nominee for TN House District 63. Though the district leans heavily Republican, she won over 13,000 votes in the general election, signaling growing community support for a new kind of leadership: fact-based, compassionate, and inclusive.

Her 2026 campaign builds on the momentum of that first run. With unwavering support from her husband, two sons, and one very spoiled Labrador Retriever, Laura is stepping up to lead with the same compassion, courage, and commitment she’s shown in her practice - because Tennessee families deserve better, and she’s ready to fight for them.
