Lauri Asbury Suspends AD 53 Bid 


NEENAH, Wis. - Today, Lauri Asbury suspended her campaign for the 53rd Assembly District. Asbury released the following statement: 


“After much thought, it is with great sadness that I suspend my campaign for the 53rd Assembly District. Due to recent medical issues in my family, I can no longer give this race the time it deserves and need to prioritize family. 


“I want to sincerely thank all of my supporters and new faces I have met along the way. I appreciate your generosity and support. I look forward to continuing to serve the community, spending more time with my loved ones, and supporting efforts to elect my successor.”
