The Innovation Law Lab is a nonprofit organization dedicated to upholding the rights of immigrants and refugees. By bringing technology to the fight for justice, we empower lawyers and volunteers to scale their impact and provide effective representation to immigrants in detention and in hostile judicial jurisdictions across the country.


Innovation Law Lab has partnered with organizations in Oregon to design, launch, and manage the Equity Corps of Oregon. Equity Corps works as a creative and scalable solution to provide representation to low-income immigrants who are facing deportation proceedings before the Portland Immigration Court.  Legal service provider partners include Catholic Charities, Immigrant Counseling Service (ICS), Metropolitan Public Defender, and SOAR (part of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon). 


The program is currently preparing for statewide expansion!
