This year, Alderperson Maria Hadden worked hard to lead the Anjanette Young ordinance which would've put an end to the dangerous raids by Chicago Police. As she continues her fight to ban no knock warrants, require body cameras, and ultimately eliminate the violent and discriminatory practices targeted at the homes of innocent Black and Brown families, we are calling for lawyers around Chicago to stand with her!
Join legal advocates throughout the city on February 7th at 6pm as we come together for food and drinks at One North Restaurant, 1 N Upper Wacker Dr. to raise money to support Alderwoman Maria Hadden's re-election campaign! *Given higher covid rates, we'll ask that people bring and wear masks when not eating or drinking. We will also be limiting capacity at the event, so get your tickets soon!
Contribution rules
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I understand that by ordinance of the City of Chicago, no lobbyist registered with the Board of Ethics, or person who has done business with City within the preceding four reporting years, or person who is seeking to do business with the City, shall contribute over $1,500 during a calendar year. This includes persons doing or seeking to do business with the: City of Chicago, Chicago Transit Authority, Board of Education, Chicago Park District, Chicago City Colleges, Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, Chicago Housing Authority, or Public Building Commission.
