Louisville Democratic Party: Candidate Training Program

The Louisville Democratic Party Candidate Training Program is an intensive, one-day program that teaches the fundamentals of a winning campaign for elected office. This program is meant for first-time candidates and incumbent candidates alike, offering broad-ranging perspective to candidates seeking elected office of any size, from local campaign professionals.


Participants will learn the principles of running a winning campaign from the ground up. This program will begin by outlining everything a candidate ought to do to before they begin their campaign, proceeded by the following topics: Campaign Research, Campaign Fundraising, Campaign Field, and Campaign Communications.


This program is scheduled for November 4th, 2017, from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Only the first 30 candidates who RSVP may attend due to capacity, on a first-come first-serve basis. However, if there is greater interest, we will accommodate with future scheduled meetings.

Contribution rules

  1. I am at least eighteen years old.
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  4. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
