My name is Leah Hanson, and I’m running to represent District 18A in the Minnesota Legislature. I’m a lifelong resident of southern Minnesota, raised on a hobby farm, educated at MSU Mankato, and proud to call North Mankato home. For the past 12 years, I’ve served our community as a counselor and social worker, working directly with families navigating housing instability, healthcare access, and economic stress.

I’m running because I believe Minnesota deserves representation that understands daily struggles and is committed to bold, compassionate action on issues like housing affordability and access to quality healthcare.
