In the first half of the biennium, Representative Harple:
- Helped to write education policy that will ban cellphones in all K-12 Vermont schools beginning in 2026.
- Supported investments to provide more low and middle-income housing in our state.
- Supported phasing out the state’s failed motel program in favor of a better transition plan towards more permanent housing independence for homeless Vermonters.
- Supported tax credits for low-income veterans and state tax exemptions on military benefits.
- Opposed H. 454, fighting hard to protect our local schools from the threat of forced consolidation.
- And so much more! (You can find a link to her voting record here)
There’s still a lot more work to do in the coming year and beyond, and Leanne can’t do it without community support. Donations pay for postcards, stamps, and the ability to run again. Can you make a donation to help her continue this important work in Montpelier and provide a strong voice for the people of the Northeast Kingdom?
