Let's Leave It All On The Field
A year into Trump's second term it is clear that we need leaders at all levels of government willing to leave it all on the field to stand up for Rhode Islanders.
I was sent to the Rhode Island Senate by the voters to be their strong voice in the State House. In my 5 years in the Rhode Island Senate I have successfully stood up for education, economic opportunity, bodily autonomy, child welfare, gun safety, the environment, civil rights, and more - and I'm not done yet.
I have a Democratic Primary opponent this September with insider political connections who is backed and funded by MAGA Republicans. He has over $100,000 in his campaign account, funneled to him from people who want to take out effective legislators who stand strong on Democratic principles.
Through the turmoil and the daily rollercoaster of headlines on national and local news, I have remained clear-eyed and focused on where my loyalty lies: with the Rhode Islanders who count on me to fight for them in all the places where decisions are made about their lives.
