Following a long career in Vermont broadcast journalism, I am a Democratic candidate for the Vermont State Senate representing the Chittenden-Central District, where I've lived for 35 years.
Over my years around Vermont politics and government, I've covered over 20 Vermont Legislative sessions and six different governors. I know how to listen. I give everyone a fair shake. Some of the policy battles I've witnessed up close at the Statehouse never really go away, like the struggle to achieve a fair and sustainable system of funding public schools.
