Protect legalization in Ohio!

embed errored

Marijuana is legal in Ohio! The voter-approved measure, Issue 2, legalizing the possession, home-cultivation, and retail sale of cannabis for those age 21 or older took effect December 7, 2023.

But, the battle to protect this progress is far from over. A Senate bill contains some provisions NORML remains opposed to – such as prohibiting adults from gifting small amounts of cannabis to one another. And, House members are debating their own modification bill. This means that minor changes to Issue 2 could still be coming, though not for many months. But, for now, because of your efforts the spirit of Issue 2 remains alive and well.

That is why NORML needs your support more than ever  —  to keep pressure on elected officials to ensure that Issue 2 is implemented expediently and as written.

You can help NORML continue the fight and ensure that the will of the people is respected.

Your support has gotten us this far. Together, we legalized Ohio. Now let’s keep pushing forward.

To be considered a NORML member in good standing donate at least $42 annually. Sustaining monthly supporters ensure that we have the resources needed to continue our work.
