Josh Slaughter has spent his career fighting for working families. From his time serving as Chief of Staff to former Suffolk County Legislator Kate Browning to his work today as a proud union member and labor leader with Laborers Local 66, Josh has built a strong record of public service and advocacy for working people.


Josh understands the challenges families are facing because he sees them every day. Costs continue to rise, good-paying jobs are becoming harder to find, and too many families feel the squeeze from taxes and the high cost of living.


In the New York State Assembly, Josh will fight to bring good-paying jobs back to our community, invest in our aging infrastructure, and stand up for policies that make it easier for working families to afford to live and raise their families here. Josh believes that when we strengthen the middle class, our entire community thrives.
