LGBT for Tammy Duckworth (IL-Sen)

Hey LGBT Friends -- Donate to Democrat Tammy Duckworth for U.S. Senate!  Let's show the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) that we care more about WINNING equality by supporting Tammy D. for Senate than bipartisan window dressing.  

HRC has done much good work for our community over the years, but I respectfully disagree with its decision to endorse incumbent Senator Mark Kirk, a Republican and "moderate" only by 2016 standards (not your daddy's Republican party).  HRC seems to think endorsing Kirk will demonstrate that HRC is bipartisan, and sure, LGBT rights should be bipartisan in an ideal world.  But, you know what's more important? Putting the Senate back in Democratic hands. Senator Kirk might have endorsed the Equality Act, but a Senate under GOP control has no chance in hell of passing the Equality Act.  It is also worth noting that HRC gives Tammy Duckworth a 100 score on LGBT issues, but only gives Kirk a 78.  Bipartisanship is all well and good.  But when lives and livelihoods are at stake, winning is better.
