Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
Contributions to Libby Schaaf for Treasurer 2026 are not tax deductible for income tax purposes. Libby Schaaf for Treasurer 2026 may accept contributions from individuals, businesses, and PACs of up to $9,100 for the primary election and $9,100 for the general election, for a total of $18,200 for both elections. Registered small contributor committees may contribute up to $18,200 for the primary election and $18,200 for the general election, for a total of $36,400 for both elections. Spouses and domestic partners may each contribute the maximum, even if their account is controlled by the same person, as long as they both sign the check, credit card authorization form or accompanying letter. We may not accept contributions which have been reimbursed by another person unless you inform us of the true source of the contribution, and we may not accept contributions from lobbyists who are registered to lobby the State Treasurer’s Office or from foreign nationals.
