Lily is a Roanoke native and former teacher running to become the Democratic Nominee for Virginia's new, highly competitive 41st District.
Lily grew up in a working-class family and worked several jobs to put herself through college. After teaching in Appalachian schools through Teach for America, she returned to her hometown to work for Delegate Sam Rasoul. Lily is a fierce advocate for Southwest Virginia. She's fought alongside us against the MVP, Dominion, and other corrupt systems.
