This December I'm raising money for IfNotNow- a movement of young Jews coming together to end American Jewish support for the Occupation. We're going to do it! Help make it happen!
It might seem odd to be fundraising for this cause right now when there are so many communities right here in our own country- including Jewish communities- who are rightfully feeling scared. But that's why it's more important than ever that we stand up for freedom and dignity for all- none of us are free until all of us are free. We must act out of love and not out of fear, and we must tell our Jewish institutions that in perpetuating the daily nightmare that is the Occupation, they are on the wrong side of history. We can't let them speak for us.
IfNotNow is showing America what it looks like to live in a vibrant, joyous, liberated Jewish community that doesn't have to hide from the moral disaster of the Occupation. It is a movement unlike any I have ever seen- grounded in ritual, positivity, and song. I couldn't be prouder to be a part of the #JewishResistance, and I hope you'll consider supporting us.
