Donate to Win TX-35

I’m John Lira - Democrat, Marine combat veteran, lifelong public servant, and proud son of San Antonio’s southeast side.

Straight out of high school, I joined the Marines and served in Iraq. I came home to continue my education and keep serving — as an intelligence analyst, a policy expert, and the senior presidential advisor for AmeriCorps.

Whether helping veterans start their own businesses at the SBA or expanding opportunities for a new generation to serve their communities, my career has been about honoring those who serve and building pathways for others to step up. Marines run toward danger, and that’s the spirit with which I’m entering this race — to make sure your voice is not drowned out in Washington, DC.

The US Supreme Court ruled Trump's maps can stay in place, and Republicans drew TX-35 thinking it was theirs. But they made one big mistake: they drew me into it. This is an open seat, and with your support, it’s one we can and will win.

Please donate today to prove Trump, his Supreme Court, and Texas Republicans wrong.

Your donation today will help us:

  • Organize in every county — Bexar, Guadalupe, Karnes, and Wilson
  • Push back against entrenched Republican money and national gerrymandering
  • Clear a path for Democrats to take back control of the House

Don’t let Republicans decide who represents you. Together, we’ll prove that TX-35 belongs to the people — and we’ll make sure your voice is heard in Washington.

Chip in today and let’s win TX-35.
