That’s why this work matters so deeply to me—it’s about protecting our teachers, children, schools and creating safer schools and communities for every family.” I’m raising funds for Teachers Unify to End Gun Violence, a national nonprofit led by educators, survivors, and families who refuse to accept gun violence as a normal part of school life. Every day, students and teachers across the country walk into classrooms carrying fear—fear of being the next headline, fear of another lockdown, fear of losing a child, a colleague, or a community. Teachers Unify provides critical support, resources, and advocacy tools to educators and school communities impacted by or living in fear of gun violence.
