Donate to Lisa Hunter for Ward 6

I’m running to be your Ward 6 Councilmember because everyone in our Ward deserves representation that will listen to them, and advocate on their behalf. It's time to bring a fresh perspective and a record of service to the DC Council.

I have spent my career working to elevate the voices of those who deserve to be heard. I have staffed the phones at a domestic crisis hotline, helping women who didn't have anywhere to turn. I served in the Peace Corps, teaching literacy to children in Guyana. I served in the Obama administration, working to provide health care to everyone as a matter of right, not privilege.

We live in a world-class city, it's time we demand something better than what we've been getting. I want my daughter to grow up knowing that everyone in our community has a voice worth hearing and a future worth investing in.

It's a privilege to earn your support. Thank you.
