To Turn Out Asian American and Latine Voters

Two very important groups are expanding their field programs in North Carolina’s urban areas. They are the largest Latine and Asian American (AAPI) organizing groups in the state, in the two fastest-growing populations.

Our support will help them hire staff as they ramp up their outreach ahead of the 2026 elections.

  • NCAAT In Action works to increase the visibility of the rapidly growing Asian American population in the state by lifting up AAPI voices in the public discourse. Their work builds a pipeline for the next generation of Asian American leaders and empowers Asian Americans statewide in civic engagement and movement building. NCAAT In Action runs an effective youth civic engagement program across the state as well as a robust voter registration program each election cycle. They will knock on 140,000 doors in 2026.
  • Siembra NC leads campaigns for better living conditions through door-to-door canvassing, community events and partnerships. In the last two years, they have reclaimed more than $380,000 in wages stolen from their members by unscrupulous employers. Their ten-year-old hotline has assisted hundreds with referrals and support. They are at the center of immigrant community protection work in NC from CBP/ICE. In the first week of CBP activity in NC, they trained more than 1,350 community members. In 2026, they will canvass 100,000 voters who sat out the election in 2024 to develop a North Carolina Working People’s agenda.

After making your donation, stay put and you’ll be redirected to register for an event that will give you more information about the two groups we’re supporting this month. Support Trusted NC Organizations: Turn Out Latine and Asian American Voters will be held March 19th at 7 pm over zoom.
