Urban Meck County — The Key to Winning Statewide

The NC legislature has systematically advanced anti-voter policies that have severely weakened the voting power of poor and minority communities in NC.

But, two very important groups are working to expand turnout among Black and Latine voters statewide and especially in one county that will be critical to winning the state in November: Mecklenburg.

One door, one conversation,

one voter at a time

Roughly one-third of the votes needed to win statewide can be found in Mecklenburg County. Advance Carolina and Carolina Federation are knocking doors, having real conversations, and meeting voters where they are with a message rooted in their communities, their concerns, and their futures.
