By the time I was in middle school, I had been a frequent flier with child services. I had lived in over a dozen places – and we even spent one Ohio winter in a tent.

That's why, when bad actors and corrupt billionaires, like my opponent Vivek Ramaswamy, threaten to eliminate teachers' unions and call Medicaid a mistake – I take it personally.
