I am Davidson County Juvenile Court Clerk Lonnell Matthews, Jr. and I am seeking re-election in 2022. Nashville has made significant progress in reducing youth violence in the last 4 years, but we still have a lot of work to do. I want to continue to lead our community in the right direction, creating a national standard for juvenile justice that is resourceful, transformative, compassionate and restorative.

Together, we can improve community supports and services for parents, grandparents, legal guardians, teachers, mentors and other caregivers.

Together, we can increase opportunities and pathways for every child, keeping them on track toward success.
