Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  4. I am at least eighteen years old.
  5. I am not a federal contractor.
Contributions to Lowey Majority Fund are not tax deductible. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle. Contributions are limited to $9,600 from an individual and $15,000 from a multi-candidate committee. Contributions to Lowey Majority Fund will be allocated as follows: The first $5,600 of each contribution from a person and the first $10,000 from a multi-candidate committee will be allocated to Nita Lowey for Congress. The first $2,800 of a person's contribution and the first $5,000 of a multi-candidate committee's contribution will be considered designated for the primary election; the second $2,800/$5,000 will be considered designate for the general election. The next $5,000 of each contribution will be allocated to the Committee for Leadership and Progress.
