With Election Day right around the corner, we hosted the Maui County Council Candidate Forum. This forum was a critical opportunity to ensure that the Lāhainā community heard directly from candidates about their plans to shape our recovery process and its future before we cast our ballots.

Lāhainā Strong is dedicated to supporting the recovery and resilience of Lāhainā, Maui. It was originally formed following the devastating wildfires during Hurricane Lane in August 2018, and re-activated after the August 2023 fires.
