Lucia is a retired St. Paul police officer who continues to train police officers in crisis intervention techniques. She served on the planning commission in Afton and has been twice elected to the Afton City Council, most recently without opposition. She and her wife, Jen, live in a rural section of Afton with their border collie, Fiona.
Minnesota’s increased Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program means that, once a year, the State of Minnesota will refund up to $75/year ($150 for couples) when you contribute to candidates like Lucia. Then print, sign, include contribution receipts from the campaign, mail to the address on the form, and in a couple weeks the money can go right into your bank account. Easy!
