Lucky Eleven- U.S. Senate Offense 2026

In 2026 we CAN flip the U.S. Senate to Democratic control- and it’s critical that we do.

UPDATE!

This form ORIGINALLY donated to 7 2026 senate races that are given a partisan lean of R-7 or less. In 2018- the last midterm election where Trump was president- the national partisan lean was D-7. The premise of the original Lucky Seven fundraiser was to fund 7 senate races that could flip in a similar environment.

However, I believe that we are on our way to a BIGGER blue wave than 2018. Costs are high because of the illegal tariffs and wars of the Trump administration, leading to wide-scale discontent with the Republican party. And now the partisan Supreme Court has gutted the Voting Rights Act, meaning that it is more important than ever to organize so that we can prevent the addition of any more corrupt justices to this court, and reform the court when Democratic party back in power.

The original Lucky Seven races remain key to this goal, and over half of these races now have excellent candidates who have won their primaries, and polling is very promising already. The states that have not yet had primaries will contribute to whomever the nominee is for that race.

The Lucky Seven are:

  1. Roy Cooper in North Carolina
  2. Mary Peltola in Alaska
  3. Sherrod Brown in Ohio
  4. James Talarico in Texas
  5. Iowa Senate Nominee
  6. Maine Senate Nominee
  7. Florida Senate Nominee

In light of the changing political environment, I am adding FOUR additional races. These are states where the partisan lean is over R-7, but there are promising candidates and the environment could lead to surprise victories.

  1. Scott Colum in Mississippi has the potential overperform and pull off a shock win. https://www.thebulwark.com/p/dont-eyeroll-democrats-have-mississippi-in-their-sights-scott-colom-senate-campaign
  2. Dan Osborn in Nebraska is not running as a Democrat, but as an Independent, and will not caucus with Democrats or Republicans. However, he is fully Independent from the Republican party and could be a key partner in passing legislation. Importantly, Osborn has come close to winning before in a much redder environment.
  3. Kansas Senate Nominee- Kansas has a partisan lean only slightly to the right of original seven, and there are a group of extremely promising candidates running in this state.
  4. South Carolina Senate Nominee- Jaime Harrison came within 10 points of winning this race in 2020, and this year looks to be much bluer than 2020. Dr. Annie Andrews is running a promising campaign, and is generating interest in the state. https://www.greenvilleonline.com/story/news/politics/2026/04/01/annie-andrews-senate-campaign-event-greenville-crowd/89418789007/There are other potential nominees as well, whoever wins the primary will be the recipient of any funds raised.

Please consider contributing to this campaign- we are facing tremendous challenges in this country, the only silver lining is that this environment is likely to lead to a wave election that far surpasses the one we had in 2018. It is important to maximize our wins, so that we can piece the country together with expediency once we break free of Trump's administration.
