The Glynn County Democratic Party
welcomes Nikki Porcher,
Georgia Labor Commissioner

Nikki Porcher
Nikki Porcher is a U.S. Air Force veteran, former public school teacher, and founder of award-winning nonprofit organization Buy From A Black Woman. Under her leadership, what began as a simple online directory has grown into the highest-ranking platform for Black women-owned businesses and a thriving ecosystem that has supported over 700 women founders across North America. Through practical, scalable solutions, Nikki has helped these underserved entrepreneurs generate over $6.12 million in revenue, connecting more than 50,000
consumers to their brands every year. Her work goes beyond visibility, it’s about infrastructure. She builds systems that ensure business owners can thrive long term. Nikki’s approach is rooted in data and accountability. Her DEI research is influencing policy conversations and corporate practices nationwide. Furthermore, she has built a community of 280,200 supporters, secured partnerships with organizations like Goldman Sachs, and led national conversations at Hope Global Forum and the Biden
Administration’s White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Excellence, Equity, and Economic Opportunity for African Americans. Nikki has earned multiple Stevie Awards for her work, including Woman of the Year Government or Nonprofit, Achievement in Diversity & Inclusion, Social Activist of the Year, and Event of the Year.
She is now the Democratic Nominee for Georgia Labor Commissioner, running to do for all Georgians what she has spent years proving is possible — creating real, lasting economic opportunity and ensuring every worker in every county has access to resources, support, and stability.
