LUPE Votes is building on the transformational change our communities created. Through electoral and political organizing, we're helping working-class South Texans build power and shape the future of our region.
Rooted in decades of organizing with our sister organization, La Unión del Pueblo Entero (LUPE), we believe lasting change comes from the community itself. Since 2020, we've recruited, trained, and supported local leaders who have helped strengthen the political voice of South Texas. Together, we've helped flip a State Board of Education seat, supported successful precinct chair candidates, and built the largest homegrown grassroots organizing effort in the Valley.
With the support of volunteers, partners, and neighbors, we've reached thousands of voters and built lasting community power.
Now we're ready for the next chapter. In 2026, the Rio Grande Valley is back in the national spotlight, with three congressional races and more than 316,000 eligible Latino voters who did not participate in 2024. The momentum is real, and we need you with us.
