About Us
Literacy Volunteers of Laredo was organized in 1986 to promote literacy throughout Laredo. The LVL community program consists of staff who recruit, train, and match volunteers tutors with non-reading adults who need individualized basic reading and English as a second language (ESL) instruction for those who are not native English speakers.
Fundraiser
In order to continue serving our students, we need the community's support. With just $5, you can help one student get the necessary materials they need to succeed. We are grateful for your consideration in helping us end illiteracy in Laredo.
