Lynne Walz

Bring Common Sense Back to Governing

For too long, Nebraska leadership has been focused on noise rather than solutions, neglecting the values that make our state strong. Right now, Governor Pillen is falling behind on core opportunities like infrastructure, economic growth, and supporting our schools . Former State Senator Lynne Walz is ready to stop the political distraction and focus on fixing the fence, not fighting in the mud.

Lynne is a lifelong Nebraskan whose experience is rooted in the community and built on everyday work. Raised on a small hog farm, she learned the grit and common sense needed to tackle problems head-on as a teacher, daycare owner, and advocate for people with disabilities. She took that practical common sense to the Legislature and delivered results, passing more legislation than any other Democrat in two terms by building trust across party lines.

Lynne’s first and most important job is to listen, which is why she spent the last several weeks on a statewide listening tour to build this campaign from the ground up. She has been traveling across the state to meet with neighbors and hear their concerns firsthand.

During this tour, she heard from families struggling with the rising costs of healthcare and property taxes. These are issues that require a leader focused on the people instead of the politics. We cannot stay on the road without you, and your contribution today is an investment in the common sense and cooperation Nebraska deserves.
