I'm Lynne Russo, and I'm running for the North Carolina House to bring a strong voice for Henderson County and Western North Carolina to Raleigh.

In the months since Hurricane Helene, I've spent countless hours listening to neighbors, visiting communities, attending recovery meetings, and hearing firsthand what families, small business owners, farmers, teachers, and seniors are facing. I've seen both the resilience of our mountain communities and the challenges that remain long after the headlines have faded.

Too often, people in Western North Carolina feel forgotten by those making decisions far from the places most affected by them. I believe our communities deserve leaders who show up, listen carefully, and fight for practical solutions that improve people's lives.

This campaign is focused on the issues that matter most to the people of Henderson County: affordability, strong public schools, disaster recovery, responsible growth, infrastructure, and protecting the quality of life that makes these mountains such a special place to call home.

Most of all, this campaign is about making sure the voices of Western North Carolina are heard in Raleigh.
