Re-Elect Monaé Nickerson

Monaé Nickerson has served the Prince William County and Dumfries communities for over 18 years as a Community Steward; Monaé has volunteered at agencies across the County and served on numerous Boards and Commissions. Monaé lives by and engages her community with her motto, "Don't just complain, contribute," which encourages civic involvement.


In 2018 Monaé was elected to the Dumfries Town Council and appointed the First Black Female Vice Mayor in Dumfries History. Since taking office in 2018, Monaé has worked with local and state leaders on infrastructure improvements, community engagements, and economic development. Now in 2022, it's time to continue to push forward with the work she's initiated because, as a community, there is still a long road ahead to get to where we deserve to be.
