There is no power like people power! Maria has been able to remain independent and rooted in our community because of the success of recurring donors like you. Join the M49 Club for the 2027 election campaign!
We are proof that a locally-funded, people-powered campaign can be successful without having to rely on large contributions from outside donors. If you live in the 49th Ward and set a MONTHLY RECURRING DONATION for at least $4.90 a month, you will receive the following:
1 Campaign Window Sign
2 Campaign Buttons/Stickers
2 Invitations to supporter receptions
1 Invitation to our election night party
You can pick these up from Maria at any campaign event, once we reopen our campaign office this spring, or if we happen to knock on your door while canvassing!

Contribution rules
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I understand that by ordinance of the City of Chicago, no lobbyist registered with the Board of Ethics, or person who has done business with City within the preceding four reporting years, or person who is seeking to do business with the City, shall contribute over $1,500 during a calendar year. This includes persons doing or seeking to do business with the: City of Chicago, Chicago Transit Authority, Board of Education, Chicago Park District, Chicago City Colleges, Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, Chicago Housing Authority, or Public Building Commission.
