Friends,
I ran in 2020 as an unapologetically Black, queer 25 year old candidate. Since my first election I have championed legislation for abortion, housing, minimum wage, and criminal justice reform. I have consistently fought for working class Rhode Islanders.
In my four years in office, I have won: Eviction Sealing, rental escrow accounts for units with lead, abortion access for medicaid recipients, Juneteenth as a state holiday, and PrEP/PEP coverage on all insurance plans.
My role in the Rhode Island Senate is all about hope, and together we much put that hope into action!
By chipping in what you can, whether it’s $25 or $500, you’ll be helping maintain a grassroots campaign and showing how serious we are about hope, action, and results.
In solidarity,
Tiara
