The upcoming August 11 Wisconsin Primary is fast approaching. Madison Area DSA has endorsed two people-funded campaigns that need YOUR small-dollar donations to win. 


Juliana Bennett has been a MADSA member since 2024. Juliana is a queer Black Democratic Socialist with a strong track record serving as a Madison alder, federal legislative liaison, and WI Assembly staffer. She’s running for Assembly to fix Wisconsin’s broken education funding model by taxing the rich. Juliana has pledged to work closely with MADSA in office to achieve our shared goals and keep District 76 radical. Learn more about her campaign here.


Francesca Hong has been a MADSA member since 2021. Francesca Hong is an Asian American Democratic Socialist and MADSA-endorsed Assemblywoman. She’s running for Governor to set a bold agenda for Wisconsin: universal childcare, paid leave for all, and making healthcare affordable for working families.
