Sharing Our Values
Your Mahwah Democratic Club provides many worthwhile and important events throughout the year. Only some of our efforts include:
- Sponsoring monthly club meetings as well as “Candidates’ Nights” which are open to everyone.
- Holding postcard and letter-writing “parties” and organizing phone calling and canvassing efforts to Get Out The Vote.
- Supporting local, county, state, and national candidates who share our values.
- Providing cookies for the local poll workers on Election days.
- Running a booth at the annual Mahwah Day.
These efforts to keep our democracy strong cost money. We need your help in continuing and expanding these efforts.

Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
Note: All donations are reported by law to the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission, and any individual’s total yearly donation of $300 or more must be disclosed in detail to the Commission.
Each contribution will be assessed a total fee of 3.7% + $0.23, which is deducted from the gross donation amount before it is paid out, e.g. a $20.00 donation will net the Mahwah Democrats $19.03.
