Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Contributions to Maine - Iowa Senate Victory will be allocated as follows:
The first $7,000/$10,000 of each contribution from a person/multicandidate PAC will be split evenly between Troy Jackson for Maine and Josh Turek for Iowa (each a “candidate”). The first $3,500/$5,000 of a person's/multicandidate committee's contribution to each candidate will be designated to the general election. Any of these funds that would result in an excessive contribution for Troy Jackson for Maine will be allocated to the Maine Democratic Party and any of these funds that would result in an excessive contribution to Josh Turek for Iowa will be allocated to the Iowa Democratic Party. The next $20,000/$10,000 of each contribution from a person/multicandidate PAC will be split evenly between the Maine Democratic Party and the Iowa Democratic Party.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting jackson@acuitypolitics.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
