Make NC First is a pooled fund, managed by North Carolina's in-state donor alliance, focused on mitigating the extreme right-wing policies being advanced in North Carolina. Our goal is for North Carolina to once again be a beacon of progressive leadership in the South. To accomplish this, Make NC First supports organizations that:


 • Work to expand North Carolina's electorate through voter registration and direct voter programs,

• Build leadership pipelines to recruit & train candidates,

• Provide research & polling on key issues to allied organizations,

• Develop pragmatic & progressive public policy initiatives,

• Hold elected officials accountable for their actions.

 

Contribution rules
