Join Vote Mama PAC for a virtual fundraiser in support of Congresswoman LaMonica McIver, co-hosted by Congressmamas Maxine Dexter, Jennifer McClellan, Brittany Pettersen, Hillary Scholten, Lateefah Simon, and Jill Tokuda, and Bonnie Watson Coleman. 


This spring, Congresswoman LaMonica McIver was charged and indicted for doing her job conducting a legally authorized congressional oversight visit at an ICE detention center in Newark, NJ. In June, Rep. McIver was charged federally, indicted, and she pleaded not guilty to these baseless charges. Her trial is set for November 10. 


In the meantime, Congresswoman McIver has incurred mounting legal fees, and some of her fellow mamas in Congress want to help make sure she can pay for those while fighting these politically-motivated charges by Trump’s Justice Department.


Vote Mama PAC is activating the Mamas Network to support one of our own, and are grateful to our Vote Mama alum for stepping up to amplify and mobilize to fundraise for Congresswoman McIver.
