Right now, New Hampshire state police are preparing to force ~100 unhoused people out of their (legal) camp. Local organizers and camp residents are preparing to resist the state's eviction. We need your support to get legal aid and supplies to the organizers and camp residents ASAP!
Since November 15th, organizers and camp residents have delayed an eviction attempt planned for November 16th. The state falsely claimed that they have tried to provide the camp residents direct support. The mayor of Manchester, Manchester fire chief, camp residents, and organizers all concur: This is simply not true.
We are raising funds to:
- Provide legal aid to the 50+ people who have pledge to risk arrest to protect the camp safe.
- Purchase warm clothes, heaters, blankets, etc to meet the basic needs of the people at the camp.
