Representative Mandie Landry is in her second term in the Louisiana legislature, representing District 91 in New Orleans.
As a progressive in a red state, she battles ultra conservative legislation, while also working to pass bipartisan legislation on issues such as maternal health, gun safety, and protecting and supporting New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.
She focuses her work in the legislature on several policy areas, including reproductive and LGBTQ+ rights, gun safety, hemp and medical marijuana, good government, and voting rights, among others.
