Hi there! I am a MAPL'er from Cohort 27 (2018-2020), and I was elected to the MN House during my final year in the program during COVID. I won and held a newly flipped seat because MAPL'ers stepped up to help staff my campaign, volunteered to phone bank, and generously donated to get me across the finish line. I am running for re-election, and I need your help again to win!
This seat has been among the most competitive races in the state for 4 elections in a row (since we flipped it in 2018). This means that I need to do everything I can to earn enough support every cycle to maintain the majority in the MN House.

MAPL'ers are among the strongest organizing units in the state. I see us all around the capitol and in various critical positions in state and local government and beyond. The MAPL program, students, and staff taught me how to be an effective leader, and the education I earned at Metro State is on my mind as a politician every day. Talking about MAPL'ers in my work is one of my favorite things to do in committee, personal conversations, and from the House floor. Your work and skills deserve to be recognized in all the spaces you're in, and I will always have MAPL'ers backs, because I know so many of us are in the trenches doing the good work MN needs.
As our fearless leaders taught us - Politics is how we care about each other. I believe that to my core, and I will always do my part to spread the word about the #PoliticsOfCare and continue the legacy Wy, Marcia, Dr. Falcon, Dr. Cooper, and all of the MAPL staff past and present who have empowered us to carry out the message across MN.
