Del. Marcia "Cia" Price currently represents the 95th District and is running for election in Virginia's new 85th House District. She has been working hard to bring change to the Commonwealth. She serves on the Health, Welfare, and Institutions Committee and General Laws Committee actively engaging in discussions and asking questions that often otherwise would go unasked.

She has worked on important legislation including being the lead sponsor for the Voting Rights Act of Virginia and other legislation on student loan debt, eviction prevention, redistricting reform, mental health, domestic terrorism, and equitable reproductive healthcare access.

She is not afraid to speak up about the issues that matter most nor is she afraid to roll up her sleeves and work hard to get things accomplished for the people.

Price has brought several important issues to the House Floor, speaking out about economic justice, voting rights, emergency preparedness, Census funding, gun violence prevention, and more.

She is the first out Black woman member of the LGBTQIA+ community to serve in the General Assembly's 400+ year history. Del. Price is a crucial voice for civil rights, equity, justice, and compassion. She has been a hard-working and consistent voice since her first day in 2016.

She brings a heart for the people to the table and makes sure that all voices can be heard.
