Right now, Fairfax faces a reckless recall that threatens to undo an election result and destabilize our town. This power grab would:

• Strip Fairfax of local control over housing decisions, triggering the “Builder’s Remedy” and letting developers bypass our community’s rules.
• Drain taxpayer money with costly lawsuits and lost state funding, risking fiscal ruin.
• Create a power vacuum by removing experienced Councilmembers and disrupt critical projects like stormwater upgrades, bridge repairs, and the five-year pavement plan.

This recall is reckless, divisive, and dangerous — and the stakes for our community couldn’t be higher.

YES on Proposition 50

While we defend democracy here in Fairfax, we must also protect it nationally. Prop 50 stops Donald Trump and his allies from rigging elections through gerrymandering. A Yes vote ensures fair maps, fair representation, and a fair shot at building a better future.
