Each individual Covid-19 loss is almost unfathomable due to the overwhelming circumstances: a global pandemic, a divided nation, isolation amidst a facade of digital connection, lost mourning rituals, finger-pointing, disregard despite a constant national spotlight, and -- of course -- the completely preventable nature of this slow-moving disaster.


Since our leaders have not created spaces to mourn and reflect as a nation, Marked By COVID will continue to fill the void as best we can.


We will continue to lead the fight for Covid justice, hold vigil, bear witness, establish permanent memorials, advance a federally-recognized Covid Memorial Day, advocate for a truth commission, and more.
