I am Mary Ungs-Sogaard, a lifelong Iowan, journalist, small business leader, and community advocate with decades of experience championing transparency, local institutions, and the needs of Iowa families.


I am running for Iowa Senate District 33 because I believe Iowa can do better. We deserve leaders who listen to the people, work together, and put Iowans first. I will fight for working families, quality education, affordable healthcare, a healthy environment, and an Iowa where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
